Questions

What is a Power of Attorney and who should hold it?

It is a document that lets a trusted person act for you in specified matters. The person you choose should be someone you trust fully and who lives near the property. The powers should be limited to what is needed, such as paying taxes, dealing with tenants or signing a sale deed.

Do I need to be in Kerala for a re-survey correction?

Usually not. A representative with a proper authority can attend the office. Some steps may need your documents or a signature, which we plan so you travel only if the law requires it.

What does the yearly care plan cover?

A scheduled records check, payment of recurring taxes against your receipts and a short written status each time. The exact list is set out in writing before you start.

Do you charge fixed fees?

Fees depend on the documents, the number of parties and the offices involved. You receive the scope and the fee in writing before work starts. Government fees, stamp duty and courier charges are paid at actuals.

How long will my work take?

It depends on the authority involved and on how complete your documents are. Registrations, certificates and tax applications move at the pace of the office concerned, so we give you realistic stages rather than a promised date, and keep you updated at each stage.
